Lisa Medici

Lisa Medici is a writer, producer, philanthropist and animal advocate.

In 2007, Lisa helped to launch Dolce, a multi-platform media company that includes feature films, TV series, documentaries, lifestyle programming, podcasts and book publishing.  Dolce is a pioneer in DTC with the launch of our podcast series and live video streaming shows in 2008 and an OTT SVOD streaming TV channel in 2010.  Dolce was invited to ring the opening bell at NASDAQ

Her writing, producing and directing work includes books, documentaries and theater some of which include NBC’s primetime special, “Little Italy: Past, Present & Future,” and the children’s book series “Bijou’s B&B” and the Off-Broadway play entitled “Bagabonds.”

Lisa currently serves as Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of The Medici Foundation, a non-profit 501c (3), private foundation she leads together with her husband William that promotes and provides opportunities in the arts. The foundation has sponsored a number of initiatives including the Veteran Film Lab, Angelo Musco’s Illy Cafe Art Series, the Off-Broadway play entitled Bagabonds, the New York City International Film Festival as well as leading the historic landmark of Little Italy & Chinatown in New York City.

Lisa speaks Spanish and is a member and supporter of the Animal Lighthouse Rescue, Humane Society of America, ASPCA, and the National Italian American Foundation.
