About the host: William Medici is a former intelligence operations officer and he is an Army veteran turned writer & producer, media executive, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
In 2007, William launched Dolce, a multi-platform media company with over 2,200 hours of content that includes feature films, TV series, documentaries, lifestyle programming, podcasts and book publishing. Dolce is a pioneer in DTC with the launch of our podcast series and live video streaming shows in 2008 and an OTT SVOD streaming TV channel in 2010. William currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors & Co-Founder of The Medici Foundation, a non-profit 501c (3), private foundation he leads together with his wife Lisa that promotes and provides opportunities in the arts. The foundation has sponsored a number of initiatives including the Veteran Film Lab, Angelo Musco’s Illy Cafe Art Series, the Off-Broadway play entitled Bagabonds, the New York City International Film Festival as well as leading the historic landmark of Little Italy & Chinatown in New York City.
Previously, William served as the COO at Zee Entertainment Enterprises where he led the growth strategy in the Americas with the launch of several linear television networks. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of TM Universal, a creative advertising agency that merged with Cheil Worldwide. William speaks Italian & Spanish and is a Board Director of the New York City International Film Festival.
